Borderpeak is near the Washington - Canada border and it plays into my escape route as a mossback if McCain and Palin win.
I am not from Alaska, if I had been in Alaska I would not have voted for Palin just like many others. I live on the Puget Sound. Tourists sometimes look across Eliot Bay from the Pike Place Market and tell their children, “That’s Canada across the water.” I dissed SD, ND, Nebraska, and Kansas only because a guy who knows I’m Borderpeak lives in Kansas.

Two serious things, the whole senate (with its filibuster) / Electoral College thing is seriously undemocratic. Explain to me why it is fair that SD, ND, AK etc. - 23 states in total get 46 senators and an equal population, the good people of California get 2. The ossified Constitution keeps us a conservative country.

Secondly, SD children do very very well on standardized tests, as well or better than European children so I respect SD and wish it well. If old John can flip flop then so will I.

I submit that Obama truly is the type of (classic) leader that the US needs at this time: someone with vision, that is confident enough to surround himself with talent, that will pull together individuals from across the spectrum to deal with our monumental problems and someone who will restore our standing in the world as the moral world leader we have been in the past....
