Marilyn Musgrave, who penned the amendment banning gay marriage, is getting smoked in her re-election bid for Colorado's 4th House seat.
Virgil Goode is in trouble in VA-05, where Brett and I had some incredible hospitality on our 14,211 mile trip across America.

CNN calls VA for BO
over 270 ECVs!!!!!!
First!
We in Colorado have been trying to get rid of MM for a long time. Ye HA!
perriello/goode will absolutely not be decided tonight. 704 vote difference with 97% in. few things would make me happier than a perriello AND obama win. perriello is one to be watched... mark my words.
glad we (VA-5ers) showed you guys a good time. you guys have a place to stay next time you are in town... thanks for facilitating all this.
F*ckin' A- I really wanted this b!tch to lose. This is great news too.....
Marilyn Musgrovel!
Even FOX has called it! Yeah!
And this CO resident is THRILLED that Musgrave is outta here!
Faith in my home state restored! Colorado votes Marilyn Musgrave out resoundingly! Ding, dong!
Such a shame. I leave it to you all to project what aspect of this is shameful.
Fuck Musgrave, seriously. I'm soooo happy to see Colorado going blue all the way as a resident, mostly for the schadenfreude ;)
No but seriously fuck Musgrave
There is a special place in hell for Musgrave. She has been one of the most disgraceful members of congress. Good bye and good riddance to Musgrave.
Glad to know my fellow Coloradans finally wised up and voted that nasty hateful excuse for a human out
of office.
VA-5er here. I have been trying to vote Virgil Goode out for a decade now. His opponent Periello was up by 200 votes (!) when I went to bed. What a nail biter. Viva Obama!
Musgrave and Tancredo are both gone?
I'm feeling a bit bitter that they didn't leave until after I moved away...
Speaking of Gay Marriage:
I have to get up in a few hours. amd be lucid for an appointment, but I am still waiting & watching to see what will happen with CA Prop 8. It is so close, and not all the precincts, especially some in the bay area have reported yet!
Is it sad that I am holding out hope, when all the other gay rights legislation got stomped?
